The chain meshes with the main and driven sprockets for secondary transmission, which is called sprocket chain transmission, or chain transmission for short.

The chain transmission structure is mainly composed of main and driven sprockets and chains. Motorcycle chain factory

The driving sprocket is installed on the transmission countershaft through splines, sprocket baffles and screws. The driven sprocket is connected with the rear wheel through the buffer shell and the buffer block, and the power is flexibly transmitted through the rubber buffer block to reduce the transmission impact load. Motorcycle transmission chains are divided into ordinary chains and silent chains, and ordinary chains are divided into single-row chains and double-row chains. The chain drive of the riding bicycle mainly adopts the single-row chain in the ordinary chain. Single-row chains are divided into three types: roller chains, bushing chains, and sealed chains. The single-row chain is composed of inner chain links, inner chain plates, sleeves and rollers. The outer chain link is composed of an outer chain plate, a pin shaft and a connecting chain link. Many outer links are connected to form a long string, and a live link is used to connect the two ends to form a ring. Chain drive has the advantages of simple structure, convenient maintenance and economy. Insufficiency, poor lubrication conditions, affected by suspension devices and other factors, make the chain slack, the main and driven sprockets wear intensified, the noise is large, and the service life is shortened.

Driving sprocket. The number of teeth of the driving sprocket has a great influence on the stability of the transmission and the service life of the chain. When the pitch of the transmission chain is constant, increasing the number of teeth of the driving sprocket can increase the transmission power. However, if the number of teeth of the driving sprocket is too large, the diameter is too large, the number of teeth of the driven sprocket remains unchanged or the number of teeth of the driven gear is increased, there will be phenomena such as decline in climbing, weak climbing, insufficient power, chain skipping and chain drop. Affect the stability of the chain drive.
